Chris was an author and lawyer in Toronto, a member of the Communist Party of Canada, a board member of the World Union of Freethinkers and the International Committee Slobodan Milo\u0161evi\u0107. He headed its legal committee in support of President Milo\u0161evi\u0107 before the illegal tribunal in The Hague and was a defense lawyer at the equally illegal \u201cInternational Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda\u201d.<\/p>\n

The focus of Christopher Black’s publications and lectures has been the corruption and criminal transformation of international criminal justice, both by the NATO feme courts and the legally established International Criminal Court, into instruments of imperialism against the global South and a weapon of total war. It does not serve to prosecute the criminals who wage these wars, but the leaders of the countries that resist.<\/p>\n

Our last personal encounter was at the Belgrade Forum in March 2024 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of NATO aggression against Yugoslavia, where he urgently called for general and complete disarmament on the basis of equality. His last publications until May 2025 analyzed the new maneuvers of US and NATO imperialism and called for support for Russia in its fight against the fascists.<\/p>\n

With Chris we lose a great fighter for Free Thought, for truth, justice and internationalism, a modest and warm-hearted comrade.<\/p>\n
